    Jail House Weddings

    Tuesday, February 17th, 2009

    My name is Cindy and I’ve been dealing with the prison system in the State of California for the past fourteen years as my oldest son, Ray was in and out of prison.

    When my youngest son Joshua was fighting a case in county jail and his fiance was living with me, we started to do the research on getting them married before he would be sent up state. As I was learning what it would take I figured I could become a notary and an Ordained Minister and I could get them married. Then I figured I could do this for others and the rest is history, come visit m web site at www.jailhouseweddings.com .

    CellPals

    Sunday, January 25th, 2009

    Cellpals was started in 1999, by Priscilla Stephenson.  She was a CO, in a Texas prison and thought that mail call was the saddest thing she had seen, while working in the system.  These big ole, grown men, meaner than all get out, knowing they wouldn’t get a letter, would still line up for mail call.  When nothing came, the disappointment and sometimes tears, affected her deeply.  So, she thought up Cellpals.  At the time, if there were any other pen pal sites around, we didn’t know about them.  At first, she did it for free.  Then as the business grew, so did the expenses.  So, she started charging minimal feels.  You can go to Alexa.com, and look at how CellPals looked way back then, by using their WayBackThen machine!  We are very proud of CellPals……nothing makes me happier, than to get a letter from an inmate asking to be removed, because they have found their special someone.  (I tell them all that I’ll leave their information in our files for 6 months, in case something happens…..)

    We have many clients that have been with us for years and after a site is built, all an inmate has to do, is be honorable with us, work with us and not attempt to manipulate us to keep them on the site, we will keep them on, until they can pay.  All they have  to do is ask.  The site is already built!  We have several that are “Lifetime members”, because they have been with us for so long and are proud to be on Cellpals.

    We’re still the most comprehensive (in our opinion) and cost effective site on the Internet.  We can’t promise an inmate that we will find them a pen pal, but we can and do promise them that we will do everything within our power.  There are some fine pen pal sites available now, and if an inmate is not happy with us, we will refer them to the others.  There’s plenty for all! ; and, we are pretty busy, so I would guess that if we got too much busier, we’d have to hire some help and start a whole new bag of problems!  ;

    On Cellpals! you will find hundreds of ads for male, female and death row prisoners incarcerated in the United States who are looking for penpals…..Cellpals! is a FREE website for you to use. There are NO FEES to enter our site, view our web pages, or access our prisoner addresses……… You will never pay a fee on Cellpals to get ANY address of a prisoner or use any of our information resource .  We do many free sites for indigent prisoners.

    Why choose InmateConnections.com?

    InmateConnections.com is a bit more expensive than most of its competitors. So what makes InmateConnections.com worth it?

    When prisoners pay money to be listed on a website they want results. If they don’t get results, they feel scammed. My experience in running a prisoner pen pal service for over six years is that the response rate offered by the website is of far greater concern to most prisoners than how much money they have to spend to be on it. Except that prisoners are not going to get responses if the website does not get a lot of traffic, if it does not pay to advertise its site online, and if it does not provide ongoing email forwarding?things which all cost a lot of money. Without paying to drive traffic to the site, InmateConnections? customers would not enjoy the high response rates to their ads that they do. Generally speaking, it is not possible to have it both ways?inexpensive and great results.

    InmateConnections? customers are provided with unlimited email forwarding all year at no extra cost. This includes downloading and forwarding all email messages each week. Some of our big-name competitors do not forward emails at all. Our VIP service also provides prisoners with birthday cards; help with writing their ads; complimentary photo retouching and enhancement; a personalized matchmaking service for visitors to the site who do not have to time to browse the ads; and prompt and courteous responses to all letters and inquiries. We go well beyond simply posting a name and an address on a webpage.

    Regrettably, it is a fact that there are some prisoners who simply cannot afford our service. But for those prisoners who spend money to be listed on a website, InmateConnections.com offers the best.

    What does InmateConnections.com charge? A one-year subscription is $45 for first-contact emails all year and $60 for all emails, including from family and friends, all year. Stamps are accepted as payment from prisoners who have no funds, and renewal is offered at 25% off or $45 per year.
